Eq 1 spirit shroud2/15/2024 He's a glorified R button, and then he gets blasted. When you think of "Assassin Tank" then AP Malphite comes to mind. The options K'Sante has available both defensively and offensively are like nothing I have ever seen in League (the only thing I can think of that comes close is some kind of cracked chinese Riven player). I don't think it's any secret at this point that K'Sante was completely f***ing BUSTED in the hands of highly skilled players. Still I love writing Guides and helping players reach higher peaks, so I wanted to take the time to comb through and make sure everything in this Guide is still relevant, which to my surprise it honestly is all still pretty accurate (I do put effort into the way I word things and the information I share so that it can transcend patches and hold the test of time). Again, correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like this combo is good, but I don’t know if I’d rather go for instant gratification smites or extra damage for an entire minute on all these attacks. It's been a while since I've made any kind of update, mainly for 2 reasons I've been waiting for Riot to do large scale changes on K'Sante AND I haven't been playing nearly as much League as I used to be able to. For the same cost, you can dish 2 smites for an additional instant 7d8 damage first turn. If my math is correct, in 2 turns, first turn being spirit shroud+2 attacks, second turn being spiritual weapon attack+2attacks, you are adding 6d8 in total to your damage for 3rd and 2nd level spell slots that lasts as long as you can keep concentration on spirit shroud and how long the battle is. Is this too strong? Is it even strong at all? Can Paladins get more damage by just burning through their smites rather than casting spells? It does cost you the 3rd and 2nd level spell slots to do this (5th and 4th if you upcast each one for another d8 of damage on each, although idk why you’d upcast spiritual weapon other than 1d8). If that’s the case, spiritual weapon should be able to receive the extra d8 of damage that you choose. My question mainly is should this spell augment a Spiritual Weapon’s attacks? Based on the wording of the spell, it’s any attack that you make, including spell attacks as far as I know, against a creature in the shroud. On Paladins, this not only adds more d8s considering they get 2 attacks a turn, it prevents enemies from healing and can keep enemies from fleeing far. (I could be wrong on some details please spare me.)Īlready, this spell is super nice. These spirits have 3 effects: firstly, they add 1d8 of your choice when casting the spell necrotic, radiant, or cold damage to any attack you make against an enemy within the 10 foot radius, second, if they take this damage, they can not regain hit points until the start of your next turn, and third, if they start their turn within the radius, their speed is dropped by 10 feet. During the duration you are surrounded by invulnerable spirits in a 10 foot diameter. ![]() Spirit Shroud is a 3rd level concentration spell with a casting time of a bonus action and a duration of 1 minute. Let me start out by mentioning a few effects of Spirit Shroud for some folks who may not know that much. Immediately people began to take the spell and run with it coming up with crazy ideas and good combos for characters. ![]() One spell in particular is Spirit Shroud. ![]() With Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything comes new spells, magic items, and many other things.
